not sure a full tear down is needed after one bad season. The only guys that should be moved imo to allow for cap room without weakening the team would be Pacioretty, Dadonov and Martinez. If you can find a buyer for Lehner, he could be moved as well, providing you can find something better. Lastly, I'd resign Smith at about the same cap hit. That would still give them a solid top 6 with Stephenson moving to the wing instead of center.

this is pretty bad the other way around. Barbashev is a 26 year old hitting his career year with 26 Goals 34 Assists for 60 Points as a Top 6 forward. For a defenseman injured a lot, and probably drops from Top 4 from regression within 2 years. I'd say thats a slap to the face of the Blues. and no.
