Originally I thought Simmonds to be odd man out, but now I think they should play Clifford, Spezza, and Simmonds on the 4th line to see if they add a spark. I can’t believe they would play Kase right out of the gate IMHO.

Not really. The last time these two met the game got a little out of hand. I imagine Keefe is expecting a little extra physicality and gooning in game 1. Need a guy like Clifford in there for now at least.

He's had 3 minor penalties this season, most of his PIMs come from fights, plus the game misconduct late in the game last time they played TB.

Not worried about him take a bad penalty.

Leafs definitely outplayed Tampa. I expect a bounceback game but the Leafs will draw a lot of confidence from game 1.

Remarkable how you were absolutely correct on this. Game would've been a lot different in the Leafs didn't flatten that five minute powerplay.
Kind of hoping he gets suspended solely so Keefe isn't able to ice him.

Clifford has really turned into a handicap. It's like he knows he has to play tough to be in the lineup but he goes too far. His first hit was fine. But the second one was a Matt Cooke weasel special. If Keefe is smart, Clifford shouldn't dress for the rest of the playoffs unless there's a litany of injuries.
