based on New Jersey's goaltending in recent years, I really doubt anybody is going to be trying to pay assets to trade for a NJD goalie

Why on earth would the Habs trade a second round pick for on year of tatar who’s coming off a bad season and they willingly walked away from the year before after scratching him in the playoffs???

Jets decline. Since they aren't in a rebuild they will hang on to Hellebuyck. Also if they are moving Dillon, they'll deal directly with VAN as opposed to using NJD as a middleman.
