The truth is, nobody knows exactly how teams value players and the return is always disappointing for one team. Let's not immediately jump and say "NO CHANCE" (unless the deal is TRULY terrible) when Ristolainen and Ben Chiarot were traded for first rounders.

That being said, none of these deals would probably happen, but they would be fun if they did. But there is at least some plausibility to them. See comments.
-Jets should absolutely look at hiring a coach that plays to this teams speed and skill. I'm not sure a defensive coach who doesn't like playing young players is the right fit here. Boudreau would be great. Offensive style coach. The 3 coaches besides Trotz with MB connections that have been mentioned would be truly awful (AV, Carlyle LOL, Arniel). Please god no.
-I'd like to move Wheeler, but I don't see how anyone takes that contract...but hopefully I could be surprised.

Jets draft Noah Ostlund, Jagger Firkus or Ryan Chesley with the Rangers pick (if they get lucky)
-I'd love to get Lundkvist from the Rangers but that's super unlikely given my trades. Ya'll need to play him over Nemeth

Admittedly, this one is bordering on extremely unlikely to impossible. Division rival, Jets don't have a clear need at wing but this would compensate for the loss of Scheifele obviously really well. My logic would be that the Wild will obviously be looking for picks and prospects since they decided to inexplicably buy out BOTH Suter and Parise and have no money. So, if they trade Fiala the package will obviously be underwhelming, but this package is kind of similar to the Eichel package but obviously less. 1st and second picks are good value, especially a 2023 1st. Rashevsky had a breakout season in the KHL and should be close to NHL ready within this buyout window. Obviously the Russian mixing with kirill is nice. Vesalainen is a former 1st rounder who could use a change in scenery. Maybe Evason can squeeze something out of him that Jets coaches could not.

Minnesota declines. They wouldn't be trading fiala inside division. You sure as heck would have to overpay for that to happen.

Throse prospect do nothing for Minnesota especially Kristian. Carolina is a late 1st..you would have to beyond pay to get a player like fiala in division

Wouldn't trade Torgersson for Kravtsov, maybe send the Rangers another pick for Kravtsov Idk.

I disagree about the Jets not having a clear need on wing, I think there's a very clear need for a top 6 winger and had they got one in the offseason (Buchnevich Chevy, how the **** were you not in on that deal?!!! 🤬) instead of two dmen when you only needed one then maybe they'd be in the playoffs right now.

I can tell you that at least right now, anything involving Pesce gets shot down instantly. The Canes won’t consider trading Pesce until Heimosalmi is comfortable at the NHL level. And the Canes also won’t be trading for Sheifele. He doesn’t fit the system the Canes play, and he would just end up becoming Jeff Skinner 2.0. Canes aren’t going through that crap again. Canes pass
