You can do better than Kessel and save money in that spot. Also, I would be shocked if Kessel goes back to a Canadian market.

Very much so. Wheeler and Scheifele are the main reason Laine wanted out of Winnipeg. Not a chance Columbus acquires them with Laine still on the roster. Id say that’s potentially reasonable in terms of value, but maybe a bit high.

Columbus does have some pretty good research hospitals to deal with those newly appearing cancers

Won't pile on about that trade, more concerned with giving Lowry away for a 5th? I think he has so much more value than that.

To be fair, I didn't know the whole rift situation in WPG. All I've heard was Stasny doesn't want to re-sign with Schiefele still in WPG.

Makes sense I suppose. CBJ probably is better off accumulating picks and continuing their build.
