Hawks easily decline. We're rebuilding and have no reason to give up futures and young players.

Taking on Reilly doesn't make any sense for NSH. Not interested in Smith for the Preds either. Retreads never work out in NSH.

This makes no sense. Forbort could easily be traded, but makes more sense for this bruins team. Also, Chicago would laugh at that Dach trade. No way the Bruins move on from Carlo. Nashville wouldnt have interest in Mike Rielly or Craig Smith as they are not in need of those guys. Either way the return for Boston is putrid.

I think if the Hawks were closer to contending they would make that deal. But I really don't think they're interested in taking on $8M in contracts and giving up a 2nd round pick to be in the cellar again.

That being said, the Hawks should absolutely abandon Kirby Dach as a future building block. He has been a total waste.

Seems like Hawks fans don't like the trade, and I don't either. Dach is not worth giving up Carlo and DeBrusk.

Simply put, that doesn't help our rebuild and Dach's upside is worth more than anything in that trade proposal.
