Don't think they're quite there yet, but it's close. Blues lack the dynamic talent to compete with the Avs.

I think the backend is just too weak, need some reinforcements and upgrades to the blueline, your forward group is really good, Leddy wasn't the answer and no Krug really hurt.

Really eh, he hasn't looked good at all to me in the games I've watched but admittedly I haven't watched them all.

Sometimes you just hit a hot player or line. Both EDM and COL are beatable like the leafs, especially in net. But when those big guns come out like that it’s tough. Senior use to be capable of that, Buch, kyrou and most of the top 9 are all very capable of scoring and putting up big hot streaks. Don’t think blowing up is the answer.

With COL as hot as they are it’s tough to look good when you are. CGY looks like a bag of trash with the way McJesus is driving. But they aren’t

That Flames top line has looked mostly invisible in the games I've watched.

All teams are certainly beatable. I dont think blowing it up is the answer just yet. Maybe in another year when they have to figure out what to do now with ROR, Vova, Kyrou and Thomas up next season. Still don't think "blowing up" would be the answer but a retool wouldn't hurt.

While I'd take Leddy over Scandella, wouldn't say he was the answer, but a good fill in

If the Blues can play the way they did in that second half of that game as well as Game 2, they can pull this off. Consistency is the problem. Even though his save % was still below .900, Husso has a lot of reasons to be confident after this game.

Only way to maintain that level of play over the next two games is to continue to get depth scoring.

Blues have plenty of depth. They locked in defensively in the second half of that game and game 2. That was when they had success.

You could make the argument the reason they were so locked in defensively was because they were playing in the avs d-zone most of the time.

Inside their own zone they kept everything to the outside except the Mac goal in the 3rd. Inside the offensive zone, they did do a great job
