Voracek? Man's been great for CBJ, how is he on the list?

Trouba might be a bit overpaid but he's productive and huge on the ice, I'd take him. Matheson is fine.

That doesn't make him one of the worst contracts in the league

Not sure Voracek or Hayes should be on the list

Meh, just from a Ducks perspective, Fowler is 30, put up solid possession numbers this year while starting his shifts primarily in the d-zone, and also produced well offensively. If the market for a player of his caliber is significantly less than $6.5 x 4, I'd be pretty surprised. If he was signed until he was in his late 30's, sure, bad contract, but this expires when he's 34. IMO not an albatross at all.

With Henrique, he's certainly "overpaid" from a value perspective, likely by about a mil or so, but he put up solid 2nd line production (42 pts/58 games) and was easily the top 2 way forward on the Ducks this year. It also expires when he's 34, so it's not like you're paying on the major-decline years.

Silfverberg? Yeah, I agree on that one. I have an irrational dislike for him, which certainly doesn't help me defend him tears of joy

Voracek was really solid this year, so it's surprising to see him there. For a team with zero cap issues, he's the perfect guy for the growth of that team.
If I was replacing a few here, I'd absolutely add Petry's 3 x $6.5 , which has already started to bite based on his decline this year, Loooooch in Calgary, and Khudobin in Dallas (just off the top of my head...I'm sure there's more...)

I feel like there's a distinguishable line between "Overpaid" and "bad contract".

When I look at both of them I'm always surprised that Voracek is only 32 (Just seems like he's been around forever!), and Hayes is already half way through that contract (time flies!).

Cam Fowler: owed $22 million over the next four years, 9 goals and 33 assists = 42 points, comparable or better possession numbers than any of the three Penguins I'm about to list
John Marino: owed $20 million over the next four years, 1 goal and 24 assists = 25 points
Michael Matheson: owed $16.5 million over the next 4 years, 11 goals and 20 assists = 31 points
Marcus Pettersson: under contract for only 3 more years, 2 goals and 17 assists = 19 points

You already have Matheson on your list, and Fowler was as productive offensively as Marino and Petterson combined, so I'm not sure he should be on it with Matheson.

jeff skinner had 33 goals this year? he might be a little overpaid but i think a lot of teams would be able to live with that contract + production combo.
