Winnipeg has no need for left shot anything and the value isn't there. The Jets say no.

why don't you acquire Hedman and vasilevsky too while you're at it, make it a real cup contender

Yeah I really don't see any of these trades getting accepted.

The 7th isn't worth very much. Especially in this year's draft. Tiers in this draft are sorta:
1
2-4
5-14
15-25
25 onwards.

Obviously it depends on the team, and who each team is high on. the #1 is Wright. I don't care what narratives people try to push, he's the #1. Teams don't pass up good 2 way centers who seems to be captain material.

2nd would consist of Savoie, Lambert, Cooley. All very good players, not nhl ready, but a few more years of development you are looking at top 6 forwards.

3rd would be the 2 defenseman (will probably go higher as se teams chose positions over best player available, Juraj Slafkovsky (might be chosen higher as teams will love his size)
Gleb Trikozov, Kemell, etc. For the rest.

This is a very weird draft. Will teams be scared of taking Russian players? There are some high end players that might drop because of that specific reason. So the tiers you may not agree with, but that's how I see it

Chicago rejects, Cat was on pace for 50 goals last year in the shortened season and has hit 41 goals twice in his career the 7th overall in a weak draft and Bernard-Docker isn’t even close.
