It has been 0 days since a Bruins fan proposed Foligno to Columbus again without doing research.

Would you bruin fans stop sending Folingo to Columbus. Columbus has no room for him with too many forwards needing ice time already and he wants to win a cup, that’s why he left Columbus in the first place, maybe he comes back and retires a blue jacket but that’s when his career is over, but not now.

No one will pay Foligno - he's a buyout vet minimum waiting to happen, Smith is getting too much in return, maybe a 3rd alone, Pasternak is worth more a first, a 2nd and a top prospect at least with no lottery protections. probably a little more. I don't think you'd get a 2nd for Haula either - but maybe. and no real reason to grab a 5th for Clifton especially with how sweeney has drafted.

What if Pasternak doesn't get an extension and is just a rental?

Honestly don’t care who you follow or who you’re a fan of, you made the post. Just tired of the Folingo to Columbus trades.

Maybe as a rental - but even a guy like Hagel got a mega haul as a rental.

My post is about what Boston could get for Foligno, not which team trades for him.

I had no idea there were so many of those on here.

I'm sorry.

How about Necas, 2023 first, 2024 2nd, Bokk and Suzuki for Pastrnak (8x10 extension included). The 2024 second is conditional: if Pastrnak scores 100 points, it upgrades to a first.

Probably is a lesser return than what he would normally get, but there are rumors starting to come out about him seeing how Krug and Krecji were dumped by Sweeney and how he might want out. Take it with a grain of salt, since they are rumors, but those kinds of rumors will hurt your value. One way or another, if Pastrnak isn’t signed this off season, I think he walks out of Boston.

I can’t really see many teams really wanting to give up what Boston would want for Pastrnak when they could tank this year for a shot at Bedard and then sign Pastrnak in the off-season. Assuming he isn’t traded and then proceed to walk, I am pretty sure he goes to a team who is in the prime of their cup window or a team whose window is just opening. Carolina might be willing to give up most of the pieces that Boston would want, but if the rumors are true, his value sinks a bit, and I think the Bruins would have to settle either for the best offer or nothing at all.

For a Pastrnak trade sweepstakes, I think the front runners would be Carolina, LA, Dallas, Anaheim, NJ, Detroit, Ottawa, Buffalo and maybe NYI.

Clifton for 4th and Nosek 4th/5th
Haula, likely 2nd if he stays with Hall/Pastrnak and Smith could be a 2nd only if he's in the middle 6 or 2nd+4th/3rd if he plays on the top line.

This is assuming the Bruins sell otherwise they would probably keep them all.

Foligno half retained isn't even guaranteed to work since contending teams are tight to the cap but hopefully it does and I would take whatever pick as long as we don't have to pay to get rid of his contract.
