Zucker and Anderson are like the same player, same offensive output, same hitting prowness, same injury issues, except that Anderson takes more dumb penalities... why do Pens add the first?

I personally wouldn't do it, but I think Edmonton might do the Montreal one. Flyers one is bad. I guess from what's come out of there it kind of makes some sense- they want to get better this year. But it's only 1yr of JVR. I would move that pick in another package. Jets one is interesting because of the room stuff. Maybe they do it. If I'm the Jets I don't do it unless it's for a younger guy. I bank on signing PLD and trading 55. Maybe they is enough of a shake up. I would not do the Devils one at all.

Not very likely that the Jets move the better player and a first to get stuck with Anderson's contract.

Josh Anderson is a cap dump, why would any team move assets for him? If he was signed for a year or two more I could see it, but five...

These are all steals for the Habs, especially the NJ one. Anything where they can get out of Anderson’s contract while also getting a 1st round pick or young winger like Puljujarvi is a steal

            Nope
            Anderson has positive value
You realize the new jersey trade js literally giving away a top 5 pick + guhle + Anderson for 2nd overall
            No way!

            You realize it’s a top 5 protected 1st in 2023

So Anderson (slightly positive value but overpaid middle 6 winger), Guhle, and likely a 2024 1st for the 2nd overall pick

The only trade Montreal could offer that makes sense for the Devils is Caufield or Suzuki or the unprotected 2023 1st, which makes no sense for Montreal

            I woudlnt risk it honestly
Who knows what happens by 2024, and that kid might only come into the nhl when Anderson retires lol
1st isn't enough, it requires some more
