A 2nd overall trade would be in play for a player like DeBrincat, Pasta, Tkachuk

Think less "overrated shooter with bad underlying numbers" and more "starting goalie" and this could make sense.

i don't think this is that deal. if they move the pick it's for established, elite talent, not just to trade back in the draft.
