That too much to give first there four first round pick value here. S.Blais just resign a extension of one year with the team so won't be trade. Kravtsov and Kakko could be use to bring something back while lundkvist would probably more use to develop and add on Defense.

as a nucks fan that is too much for miller. take out blais and maybe you got something. krav lundkvist and kakko who should be moved now before his value plummets if he has another bad season, the 1st is a late one so nyr can afford to lose it

The deadline offer that rejected was Lundqvist, Chytil, and a 1st.

They no longer have their 1st. I could see them swinging back and offering to include Kakko in place of the 1st. Kakko is not worth a 2nd overall anymore, but he is worth more than a late 1st to a team that likes him.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Rangers are asking for a 1st in a deal for Kakko. So by proxy, it's the same thing for them. They likely weren't ready to cut bait on Kakko at the deadline.

Maybe that is enough to get it done.

Are the Canucks trading JT Miller or a 19 year old Eric Lindros?
