No chance the isles are trading Barzal and that would be a horrible trade for the isles. Good thing you’re not the GM.

Vancouver isn't even an offensive team. They have 1 good defenseman.

As you said no team wants Palmieri. The two extra years makes his contract worse for Vegas...

No cap room for Bailey and if we did have it, we don’t need LH.. we’d spend our cap elsewhere on what we need

I am not really sure what having good defense has to do with being good offensively

Hard to be a good offensive team when most of your defense can’t get the puck out of their own zone.

Are you sure you’re an Islanders fan? That is such a low offer for Barzal, and you’re just throwing his bestie in too? I get he’s from Coquitlam, but he doesn’t have any movement clauses constraining the value. 20+ teams beat an offer of Horvat/Boeser.

Yes I am a fan of the team just not a fan of a delusional fan base. I disliked Jt and Hamonic for years while the fan base gushed over them. Are you sure you know anything about hockey?

Correct but my thinking is Vegas may be desperate enough to clear cap while keeping the appearance of Win now. can't see how to trade Palm but maybe he will bounce back this year win 25 goals. Finger crossed

Not sure why you’re attacking me because I pointed out you lowballed yourself on your greatest trading chip, but ok.

Lowball you are delusional, It's close to fair can be argued either way. Just a hockey trade but don't see Van probably doesn't accepting anyways

Who besides Hughes can consistently move the puck?

Ekman-Larsson, Myers, and Dermott are all capable puck movers. None of them are elite at it, but they're all capable. Ignoring or denying that is very short-sighted

Ekman larsson and Myers are not good puck movers. I forgot dermott was on the team, yeah he’s decent at it. Overall the Canucks have a below average puck moving D core. They rarely exit the zone with possession when Hughes is not on the ice

Yes, Canucks need to get better at zone exits, yes, those two guys aren't the best at breaking pucks out of the D-zone, but like I said, they're both very capable puck carriers
