Doubt Boeser is worth the 2nd OA, but I guess that could be a starting point in trade talks

Boeser is a good player, and might be worth a 10th overall but not a 2nd overall

Yup, tbh. I would take a top 10 pick for him in a heartbeat, 2nd is a stretch

I do really like the 3rd and 4th line centres, I think someone said that on radio or podcast recently to do rodriguez and lazar

I don't think Miller or Boeser get those picks. You'd have to really pull someone's chain. You might get 6 for Boeser, but Miller you wouldn't be able to get Top 15. I would doubt it. Too many good prospects around that area to pass up on for Miller.

Brock Boeser doesn't return no 2nd overall pick, His health alone is a major issue.

JT Miller isn't getting the Chicago 6th overall pick, Perhaps the CBJ 12th overall pick at best.

I may end up looking silly if the kid doesn't pan out, but if Mintyukov is there at 15, I'm making that trade every time.

A see a team reaching to get him that needs to be better next year, picked CLB because Van really needs a to RHD in the pipeline.

I hate Satiar Shah for ever mentioning Columbus in JT Miller discussion. It just doesn't make sense for the Blue Jackets from so many angles. It's like the Josh Anderson return rumours coming out of Montreal. Jarmo blowing up the farm for older vets before the young guys have even begun to show their potential would be so nuts.

Boeser's Qualifying Offer is $7.5 million and he can force a two-year contract with his arbitration rights. No team is going to invest a top-6 pick in this draft for a two-year risk.

Boeser is not worth the 2OA right now. Had a rough season. He will likely sign with Vancouver and rebound next year

it's rebuilding season for them. I don't think they need to get better for the now. They need to bulk up the prospect pool for the future. Capitals, Penguins, Rangers, Hurricanes, Bruins, Lightning, Maple Leafs, Panthers are all teams still contending. I would imagine Detroit starts looking better too. Buffalo might start getting better depending on the players they add. Islanders are up in the air, and Devils might be getting better. Only team really not worth mentioning would be Columbus, they traded Max Domi at the trade deadline which pretty much solidified they were never trying to get better they were trying to rebuild which is specifically what they are doing so I don't think it makes sense for them to trade 6 overall away for J.T. Miller as a pure rental doesn't exactly make them playoff contenders for the long term run. He's already 29 he's bound to regress so it just doesn't make sense to me.

I challenge the health issue, longest he's missed is a month and that was due to a fractured rib on a rough play, other than that, its been all small injuries (19 days, 9 days)

That'd be such a bad move for Columbus to make.

it makes no sense for Columbus to make a win now move with Miller and Boeser isn't worth the 2nd overall pick

Miller to Columbus likely doesn’t happen, it’s even more unlikely that he would sign an extension in Columbus.

No spot/interest for Tanner Pearson from Ottawa

They might actually buy out Colin White who is a good 3rd liner that everybody likes (but overpaid and no spot)

I put in the intro that OTT wasn’t necessarily the landing spot, just anywhere

Yup, I think someone is going to be there at 15 and both MTL and ARZ are loaded with picks and might want to make the jump

No more attempts to poach Peeke, okay? We can't afford to move him. End of story. Stop asking.
