Canes pass - too much for a year of Miller since an extension doesn’t make sense. Also no need for Myers and doubt Canucks want to retain 2x2 on him.

Oil trade is a negative - Dickinson has negative value and Foegele doesn’t.

If Dickinson has negative value, so does Foegele, he wasn't a fit in Edmonton

You don't need to trade Miller, first to sign and trade Boeser

Here we go again. And yet he completely lapped him in terms of production last season. I’m using similar comparisons as you did for Miller and panarin in the other thread. You said miller is better than panarin bc of point production last year. Well same thing here by your logic.

Canes say hell no. They are set up to contend for years to come. Giving up that haul, namely Necas, utterly destroys the balance for one season in which they hope Miller can repeat a career year. No way.

Detroit says no, as Zadina is already a middle 6 wing, just like Boeser. Also, if you think Hronek would be a good pairing for Hughes....I give it all of 3 games and 8 goals against before that experiment ends. Hronek is great, but he needs a defensive defenseman as a partner.

Boeser had an awful time off ice with family stuff last season i'm very sure he's going to have a bounce back year. Although I agree that he isn't a great fit in Detroit

So, you trade Miller for cap space to sign Boeser long term but then trade Boeser?

Detroit passes, if Yzerman packages Hronek and Zadina together it's for a 2C not a winger that's basically made of glass.
