Tampa isn't taking on another contract for Killorn, The whole reasoning of trading Killorn is so they can resign Ondrej Palat. This basically only saves Tampa roughly $1,700,000 so they easily pass.

I like all this setup for EDM since they can move around Brown to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd lines depending on if Drai/McDavid are playing together. RNH can be moved around from 3rd line center to 2nd line center to 2nd line wing in lots of line combinations. This could be a very solid forward group.

As for the trades, I think the value is there, but I don't know if OTT would do that for Brown let alone retain.

I think there's still glaring issues on defense, but I like the addition of Husso in net. That's a huge upgrade from Smith/Kosko.

Edit: Also, Killorn has a M-NTC so you have to hope EDM is on his list, which it may not be.

Why on earth would Tampa ever give up a pick + a solid player for foegele? Not in a million years. If they need cap to sign Palat they still are never ever bringing in foegele unless Oilers throw at least a 2nd and other assets along with it
