God, Leaf fans just love to think other teams are their minor league affiliates. That trade couldn't make less sense for the Devils. UFA rights do not have much value beyond a 5th.

Oilers don't have the cap for that. Muzzin doesn't waive. That's terrible for Chicago taking Mrazek. The usual unworkable 21 man roster.

Honest question why do you want Blackwood? Like maybe he's a fine backup but we could easily get someone akin to him off the fa market.

Agree with the others, Chi trade needs to be incentivized for the hawks, Oil trade makes more sense if Keith is gone tho I don't think Muzzin waives either.

You have to be kidding right.......Great trade for Devils......You get a 3rd round pick and a better younger goalie prospect.

Devils don't need a prospect. They need an NHL goalie now. They are not in a cap problem to move Blackwood, especially to eat money to make it work for you.

Mzarek to the Blackhawks , he'll at least help with the tank job. Or maybe actually bounceback he wasn't that bad in previous years.

If today is any indication, that isnt going to happen for a very long time and not under this so called "rebuild".
