Too many guys on expiring deals to make this core work past this season. Trading Trouba after this season may be the only option.

Schieffle is worth way more. Chytil is nice, but he tops out as a 2C, and really that is only after seeing him have a heck of a playoff. How many young centers have great playoffs and never return to form or get to another level? Many.

Nrmeth is gonna take more than a useless 5th. Start at a 3rd and see what the SJ crowd says.

Sharks aren’t paying anything for him. Practically a cap dump for NYR and sharks don’t have the cap for that. Maybe if you moved a pick with him, like 2nd or 3rd, SJ might consider

Oh crap, I misread the deal and was thinking Nemerh was coming WITH a 5th. I concur, Nemeth needs to come with a 3rd at least.
