Don't see the Blues coming off Neighbours and then having to find ways to clear all that cap.

Kings don't have the cap space to get something like that done after Fiala.

Ummmmmm several deals here that I have issue with

Moving York creates another hole for Philly, DeB deal doesn’t work for me

If we retain on JVR, we are getting value back

Sanhiem is a proven solid 2-way D, Jake is unproven but a high prospect… not sure about this one

Provorov and Konecny each get that value in a trade or close to it… you kinda give away a big talent there for free

It's a tempting problem to have -- the trade would have to be Iafallo, Turcotte, Petersen and the first . . .

I'm starting to feel our chances at making another big splash are getting lower. We need this year to see if one of Turcotte, Vilardi, or Kupari can take the next step.

Training camp defensive pairings won't be that bad if we can re-up Edler, I think we'll have 5 potential NHL lines:

Anderson-Doughty
Walker-Roy
Bjornfot-Durzi
Edler-Clarke
Moverare-Spence

Yeah, I feel if Chuck gets drunk enough to give an offer like this you have to run with it. Clear space later or try to negotiate a bit because this deal is pretty much but one get one free on quality talent

I agree with you. Re-upping Edler is our best move; getting someone like him is our second-best. We can cycle Bjornfot, Spence and even maybe Grans (he's had one nice season in Ontario) in and out.

I could be wrong, but the thought is Edler coming in means he plays realistically 20-30 games as a depth player. I'm really hoping Moverare or Bjornfot take a step next season because Walker and Roy aren't typically that great together.

I don't like any teams chances of obtaining Cat without any 1st round pick/s.

It was just my idea on how I would go about trying to get Cat without a first and no giving up Philly Joel

I get what your saying with it. Honestly just wanted to see what the team would look like.
The Sanheim trade is something I saw from a mock trade and kinda liked it.
the reason for york is bc i want to keep joel.
and just a random one for TK and Prov but i forgot about Filla so it wouldn't work
