Trades
1.
MTL
  1. 2022 1st round pick (NYI)
NYI
  1. Anderson, Josh
Additional Details:
I don’t particularly think this value is even but reports say that the Isles are willing to trade their 13 OA pick for Anderson. I’ll take what we can get here.
2.
MTL
  1. Stranges, Antonio
  2. 2022 1st round pick (DAL)
DAL
  1. Petry, Jeff
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
This deal only happens if Klingberg walks and the Stars don’t manage to get Letang. They’ve been in the running for Petry since he was made available this past season. Montreal is reportedly interested in Stranges, so I decided to make him apart of the deal as well.
3.
MTL
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (COL)
  2. 2023 5th round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Drouin, Jonathan ($2,750,000 retained)
Additional Details:
This was a trade VIA @puckempire on Instagram I really liked. The Avs would experiment with Drouin and Mackinnon reunited on a cheaper salary. If it doesn’t work out, he’s gone after this season anyways.
4.
MTL
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (WSH)
WSH
  1. Hoffman, Mike
Additional Details:
Doesn’t matter where you trade Hoffman, just trade him to anyone that is willing to give a 2nd round pick. There will be someone.
5.
MTL
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (CBJ)
WPG
  1. Savard, David
Additional Details:
Jets need a bit of an upgrade on that bottom pair. This is cheap for a good defensive defenseman in Savard that can bounce back under a new and experienced coach in Rick Bowness.

Isles are not interested in Anderson, this was something a Blogger suggested and not a writer, insider, or legit source.

How will Dallas know whether they can re-sign Klingberg or manage to get Letang, when the free-agency period doesn't start until a week AFTER the draft?

There were absolutely no "reports" that the Isles were willing to trade #13 for Josh Anderson. There were reports that the Isles were willing to trade #13, and there were rumors that the Isles had interest in Josh Anderson, and desperately hopeful Habs fans conflated the two threads of thought.

"I'll take what we can get here". You're asking for the 13th overall pick for a guy who never had 50 points in the NHL or AHL.

46.16 cf% 46.85FF% 41.56xgf%. Hoffman is one of the worst defensive players in the entire league. his minor offensive upside isnt enough to negate his terrible defense. i dont see teams being interested in him at that price tag.

Anderson is the most overrated guy on this entire site....

last 3 season
147gp 37g 60p .40ppg or 33p/82gp average. dumb it down ... in a 82 game season he would have 33 points. WTF do people think hes so great? beyond me. he had ONE really good season like 5 years ago

Fun fact: last season, Troy Terry and Ryan Hartman had more points than Josh Anderson had over the last two seasons. And before anyone says, Well, he was injured, he played 121 games over the last 2 seasons.

Ah my bad, in that case maybe package Anderson and Dvorak or something along with other assets to the Sens for the 8th OA instead, I heard they may be interested in those two players.

If you read it, it clearly states that the trade only happens AFTER that has happened. If they manage to resign Klingberg, the trade won’t happen. Meaning that this trade has happened in this scenario after Dallas has already lost Klingberg.

Too much happening here. Habs arent making a half dozen trades on the draft floor. I've been saying this for weeks and nothing has happened. They'll most likely just let these contracts like Allen, Byron and Drouin run out while Hoffman, Armia will be more digestible next offseason.

I know ppl have been drunk of draft picks despite having 14 picks this draft but since the start of that Isles rumour I've said they are NOT trading Anderson for the 13th OA.
Anderson may not be worthwhile to most clubs but he fits a glaring need on this team for size and speed.
Hughes didnt acquire Anderson but its clear he values his tools. Trading someone with value like Dvorak who would be redundant if they draft Wright makes more sense as does Petry whom asked for a trade and doesnt fit the Habs window while trying to shed cap.

Unless a team offers a blow your doors offer as lebrun and Seravalli have BOTH stated then he wont be dealt. 13OA is not a 'Godfather' type return as Seravalli put it. That pick has a 50/50 chance of even being an nhl'r and even less so in a covid development draft where picks from 12-90 are all over the map with reported deviations in the first round rankings between clubs of 20 plus spots.

They have picks 1, 26, 33. Pick 13 really wont be a needle mover and they'd be taking away their one power forward on the team to support their small forwards.

My point is that 2022 draft picks cannot be involved in a conditional situation that won't be known until after the draft.

lol i mean people get these massive hard on for guys (based off other ppl opinions) without forming their own opinion on the player. it happens every year. whoever takes on that deal will quickly regret it. idk if i would trade Hagelin for him

thats literally the point of the site? you dont need to argue his value bc thats obviously subjective but you cant deny how terrible he's been. use that information and base it off market value of people at a similar production... take age term and cap hit into account. hes below a .5ppg player BUT again values are subjective BUT i just showed you that Hagelin ,who is TERRIBLE i mean this dude sucks at scoring vs Anderson, not a massive difference. have a good day smile

get help? maybe use common sense / dont google what other people think and form your own opinion? "insider" are wrong more often than not

Josh Anderson: 28 years old, $5.5 million cap hit, last season 69 games, 19 goals, 13 assists, 32 points; last 2 seasons, 121 games, 36 goals, 20 assists, 56 points
Conor Garland: 26 years old, 4.95 million cap hit, last season 77 games, 19 goals, 33 assists, 52 points; last 2 seasons, 126 games, 31 goals, 60 assists, 91 points

Yet suggest that Montreal trade the 26th overall pick for Garland and Habs fans would howl deafeningly, but they have no shame in imagining that Kent Hughes turned down #13 for Anderson.
