Not one asset in that Columbus trade gets them to move texier. The ask at the deadline was a first + so this doesn’t come close. Kase might not be qualified, abromov is an ok prospect and muzzin we’d want for free (like we wanted Ryan mcdonagh, a free option)

Holl isn't a cap dump.

My bad bro I didn't know the ask was that high I just thought he was a wantaway. I switched Hirvonen in for Abramov and took out the 4th, what more would need to be added?

Honestly I don’t think it’s a fit. The assets it would require would be too much for the leafs to afford. One of topi knies (untouchable, I know but would be an ask) or your first this year. He’s a 22 year old center who plays with skill and tenacity. Really skilled, shifty, aggressive forechecker.

This years first, topi, and Knies are pretty much our only untouchable futures. I feel like next years first or Robertson would be our most valuable assets that we would be willing to give up.

-I'll leave it to Hawks fans on this Mrazek trade, I think it's fair but you also have the cap room here with this lineup to just buy him out and save the picks/prospects.

-Devils aren't going to give up on Blackwood for a bottom pair D and a 3rd rounder (Campbell's UFA rights aren't important because no one is giving him an 8 year deal.)

-Muzzin isn't waiving for CBJ; CBJ also isn't trading a young forward for a 33 year old LHD with recent concussion issues and with a deal shorter than their potential path back to contention.

Agreed, its an overpay by the Jets. To get it closer to even, TOR would have to send a 1st and a 4th (which they don't have) instead of a 1st and a 7th according to the draft pick value tables from The Athletic.
