Probably starts with Bratt, top d prospect and their first next year. Maybe add the lucic deal? Teams LOVE players like Tkachuk (for good reason) he's valued insanely high. I'd sell high immediately.

If you're putting Hughes/Hischier/Holtz/Bratt off the table, the ask probably has to be:

-2023 1st (unprotected)
-Dawson Mercer
-Nolan Foote
-Jonas Siegenthaler

2 roster players on cheap deals that help replace bodies that Calgary lost today, plus a prospect and a 1st. You still probably have to add something to this deal, but this at least keeps Brad Treliving on the line to discuss with you instead of immediately hanging up when the first name out of your mouth is "Tomas Tatar".

I dont think Tkachuk is signing a 7 x $9 mil ticket this season ... kid will take the one year and go UFA next, if that's the offer.

He will have plenty of destinations to choose from next season. I'm sure his brother may have a landing spot in mind for him.

I don’t think Holtz would be untouchable, nor any picks, protected or not. I imagine it would take something like….
