Let me know what you think. I heard Dangle talking about the Calle Jarnkrok acquisition and the cap space they don't have. Maybe this could free up a little wiggle room .We don't have to trade Tatar but it would be an idea for Calgary as maybe a filler.

I think they’d want Sevo retained at 50% which definitely help their cap situation, I think retaining makes the trade fairer

Yes but also No, The Leafs don’t need Severson with Lilly in the line-up & he’ll be getting top 4 minutes now, its not worth stunting his development to get Severson

Your first mistake was listening to Dangle for anything leaf or cap related. And this trade is not close.

Trade Bratt to the Leafs for Muzzin and Robertson and a mid pick.

I don’t disagree and just out of curiosity do you think Dubas is under pressure to make something work? I feel like most people understand this is probably his last leg if there is no improvement.. not to say in a deal for Sevo specifically but do you think Dubas would risk moving Nylander in a last ditch effort to shake things up?

He doesn't understand the cap. He also doesn't seem to understand you can trade players. Again, he doesn't really seem to understand hockey.

I’d say 100% No, Dubas knows that keeping the core together is so important to success & i can see him moving smaller pieces
like Muzzin & Kerfoot but not Willy, he is a 30+ Goal & 80+ point scorer who makes less than 7 mil,Only way he’d move him is a massive overpay

I’ve dealt with Isles & Devils fans underpaying on AGM’s & i’m like you need to understand he isn’t asking for a trade Leafs have all the leverage
