Why would CGY tear it down? There is no time for them to do that complete this offseason which means they probably won't get into the Bedard sweepstakes anyways. Also, they better have a team in 5 years if they will ever have a chance of attracting Makar to come home.

In order for the cap to work Mangiapane would have to go in a deal for Nylander picks and stuff would be needed to even things out but then it would be money in and out
