If Vegas trades a 1st it won’t be for an average backup and winger who’s value is probably at an all time low

Average back up ? When is the last time you saw a full game of Jake Allen ? When he was in St-Louis ?

Honestly if the move happens, it'll be Allen for a like a 2nd rounder which is more than fair for the Habs. Adding Drouin, at this point in time, adds very little value. If any at all. That could change depending on how he plays to start the year however but right now, Drouin would only be worth like future considerations like Pacioretty was. Retaining salary like you have would maybe get the Habs a 3rd or 4th rounder probably.

If we’re giving up a first (which should be the absolute last thing this team should do with the anemic farm system to put it lightly) it better for a better than this. Allen isn’t any better than LT, you see what LT is as a full time starter, you don’t over react in the first week of august. I think we’ve seen in recent times that not having any playoff experience in goal mean Jack diddly

That's what I thought ! You haven't seen him played
So you are one of them that don't watch hockey and only look at stats
