Beauvillier has never scored more than 40 points a season and you think you can get an A prospect, a 2nd and another prospect as well? Yeesh

Habs decline. They seem really like Farrel . Plus are Isles still shedding cap with Kadri off market?

Edit…… habs don’t pick up your call after editing Roy in the trade lol

Isles fans are senile if they think they'll get that much for a overrated 3rd liner

On pace for 48 and 49 point pace the 2 seasons prior to last and he’s a great two way player if he had a better season he’s a 60 point player and that’s what you gotta pay for a 25 year old 60 point player

Go up to my other comment he’s a top 6 two way forward who’s 25 and would put up 60 points in a better situation

But he won't be in a better situation in MTL.

I don’t understand the mental gymnastics to call a guy who never hit 40 points a 60 point player. I’m confused 😕

beau has never gotten 40 points, kerfoot just got 51 with No PP time and hes hit 40 coupler other times while also being a good 2 way forward and a good penalty killer. beau makes almost a mil more for an extra year in a flat cap world, beau is a few years younger but other than that, find it very hard to see why ones a cap dump and the other gets a good return

Unless he plays with Suzuki and Caufield (which I highly doubt), he would play with Dach and Anderson (who aren't putting many points on the scoresheet) or Dvorak and Gallagher (whose roles are mainly focused on DZ faceoffs). And since Hughes will want to put Drouin and Dadonov in good situations to raise their values for TDL, I don't see where Beau fits in our lineup.

Want ? no
Was willing to take when you and CGY were fighting over Kadri? Yes

CGY Won giving Kadri what he wanted and flearing the cap by moving Monahan to MTL likely with their 1st in 2023 top 10 protected.
NYI offer of Beauviller was great dont get me wrong but given our cap situation didnt make sense unless NYI were paying to move him like even VGK did with Patches.

Now that CGY's beat NYI there's no upside for you guys to clear cap out right now
Easier to use Beauvillier in a trade if you want to upgrade at this point with no high calliber UFA Centers left
