pageau is a nice piece but it's not enough back for the avs to make up for the age difference.

Isles need Pageau and the Avs need a center. Idea Girard is worth more than jgp in this scenario seems silly to me.

Why does colorado want near 30 year old 5 million dollar cap hit with 4 more years attached to a guy who has never hit 45 points?

Pageau might not look attractive at first but avs fans will fall in love with him the second he is on the ice. Can play in all situations and brings so much to a team

I’m assuming you have never seen Pageau play in the regular season or the playoffs?

Yes, i have and he's still very expensive for a guy who doesnt score very much especially at his age. He makes way too much for a cap team to comit to especially with big contracts coming up

The previous post I looked at with the Isles '23 1st added I'd say maybe the Avs do it. But a straight swap. No chance.
