If Seattle's in playoff position at the deadline Beniers and Wright are going to be a big part of their success. I don't see any scenario where they'd be trading either of them, let alone both.

Mackinnon isn’t asking or demanding for 13millon

Dater who made the claim already walked back on it, don’t believe the click bait trolls

why would Seattle trade the cornerstones of their future who are on ELC for 1/2 a year of Mackinnon just to have to sign him to like 11.5 mil or higher just to keep him?
obviously COL would win this deal hands down, even funnier if after the season Mackinnon left in FA to go back to COL

2 cornerstone C on ELC and a 1st for a guy who is going to break the bank would be the smartest deal ever made by a GM in the history of the league!
If this happened COL would be set up for the next 10+ years.

Unless those 1/2 guys Don’t pan out & you can’t guarantee that they will ever come close to how Mackinnon is, going to the cup winners as rookies puts a bunch of pressure on 19/20-year-olds that kind of stuff can make or break careers, they have no one else to rely on if those 2 Don’t pan out & also Newhook as a 1C is not ideal for the Av’s at all

Mak is already what you want those guys to be, so in theory its why take the risk in hope they pan out when we can just have Mak. but i get it its a crazy hypothetical guys don't roast it to hard and just enjoy some crazy hockey trades.

They traded him to make room for Pietrangelo. And they had a very hard fought series to get the Avs over the hump. I mean, the Blues have god-given clown JB. STL are villains now.

Lol Avs had kadri they are the biggest villians
But anyway they traded him for shattenkirk who is very good not to make room for another player. And why wouldn’t he waive? Like he liked it there and unless there is a locker room problem in stl we don’t know about i think he’d waive.
Also JB is a top ten goalie so I don’t think he’d have a problem with him

EJ made a big deal about beating MIN in a regular season game after they won the seven game series. Screaming in the locker room. You saw how he reacted after the Avs won the Cup. Avs beat the Blues in 2018 to make the playoffs in that epic game. My gut feeling is he wouldn't want to don the blue note again. There are many places he might waive to go, just not MIN or STL.

Maybe send him a mssg on his IG

You know what I will lol
And fair enough but I feel he’d waive anywhere he’s asked, he just seems like that type of guy

yes each of those guys you hope turn into Mack, however both have top 6 top line potential and very high floors of middle 6 C's at worst.
plus a 1st gives COL 3 pieces to build around or in COL case add to an already stacked lineup.
i just think that's way to much for a club like Seattle to even consider. they need prospects and depth and this 3 for 1 deal depletes their depth their future and their cap.

on Spittin Chicklets he said he was gonna waive to be exposed to SEA and help the team, but only bc he was injured and thought they wouldn't draft him.

it would be bad for COL at first but 2-3 years later would be great, and it would be unbelievable for Seattle at first but could end in disaster if they cant resign him and even if they do and arent able to surround him with enough talent to win.

I highly highly doubt Seattle would trade their 2OA pick Beniers and 1OA pick Wright and another likely lottery pick this year for a rental MacKinnon

If the Pens wanted E-Rod, they would have just signed him. They're not trading for him... especially for that price.

Firstly it's all hypothetical nonsense, let's get that out of the way. Secondly I don't see either Seattle or Colorado doing that main trade. MacKinnon on his own, however good, wouldn't take Seattle to the cup. They'd need a LOT more imo. So they're better sticking with building around the two kids (plus the kid who comes from the extra first) for the future. MacK would get signed anyway. Just because of injuries wouldn't change that. Injuries are just bad luck so it makes a nonsense of whether or not they'd sign him, and yes I get that you were just bored lol.
