Zero chance Winnipeg trades a consistent PPG 1C for a disappointing winger.

Edmonton isn't going to trade Puljujarvi for a guy who can't even score in the minors.

1. Oilers accept. Puljujarvi is leaving anyway so why not get a good prospect.
2. No way Winnipeg trade a No. 1C for a 3rd line winger.
3. Lorentz isn’t returning to CAR. The SJS signed him for a while

Oilers don't accept. They're pushing for a Cup now and want NHL players who can help with that, not 21 year old bust who can't even score on the AHL. This is tantamount to offering Lavoie for Necas.

Oilers decline first trade. Suzuki might turn it around but he’s way more valuable to the Canes than any other team as a trade chip. Has a high pedigree but has had a ton of bad luck with injuries. Could see canes and oilers having a deal around Pulj but Canes need to send back value.

Both teams say no to second trade. WPG will want more value but Scheiffele only has a year left and don’t think RBA system fits his game. Assuming Necas bounces back next year I don’t think Canes move him anyways unless it’s for a player with term.

Canes aren’t bringing back Lorentz and SJS aren’t trading him back. The time has passed there.

Also KK isn’t a winger and shouldn’t be out there. Morrow likely makes the team next year and could even see him get some run at end of this season after his college season is up depending on how our third pair is doing or in case of injuries.

Freddy probably gets higher AAV but on a 2 year deal. Pass on Compher, go after somebody bigger.

If the jets wanted to move on from Scheifle or he asked to be moved I think a deal starting with Necas is a good start, but like a bunch of people said already the jets would want (and should get) more for a PPG C. Not sure how he fits into Brindamour's system, but hes a smart player and can be better defensively
