That’s not enough to get a 25y/o PPG winger

Sharks should definitely take that... So Meier gets left unqualified next season and signs in NJ. Please.

How is being over 2.7m cap and a 22 man roster even practical. Aren't the Leafs a thousand times better off keeping Kerfoot. Sandin and the two ,,.,,for one year of Meirer?
Been and Mete as the 6/7...Dmen. Aarf.

Sharks can’t afford that deal to retain $3 mil, take kerfoots $3.5 plus whatever Sandin gets. Not really a good return for them either for a ppg 25 yo top power forward.

Meier start with a 1st and a top prospect, add another pick or 2 and an NHL player and we have something, but this aint it.

why I keep circling back to NJD since they are looking for a Meier like player after swinging and missing on Gaudreau and Tkatchuk

They did sign Palat.

but Palat isn't an elite top line power forward, hes more a 2nd line solid 2 way guy.

SJ doesn't take that even if retention is removed.
Like why bother having kerfoot if they're dishing Meier for a rebuild? Should be prospects and picks.
