He's a college hockey player with great hair, I think lots of people can touch him if you know what I mean

Blues won't panic. That forward group has too much talent to be underachieving. They'll likely win 10 in a row and no one will remember this losing streak they're currently in. Teams are triggering hothead Binnington on purpose now. He needs to stop being so thin skinned because he's hurting his team. Reminds me of Eddie "The Beagle" Belfour. I know his nickname was "The Eagle" but I called him "The Beagle" because he was so easy to rattle. Great goalie though.

I agree with your statements (especially about Binnington) but they're in a deep hole. Sure they're underachieving but their goaltending is awful.

It's unfortunate they don't have Husso to ride anymore. I knew losing him would hurt. He's playing well for Detroit which is good because Ned stinks.

As a NYR fan I wouldn't mind it as long as that first pick is no more than 25th spot. Unfortunately I think that pick is more likely to be a 15th - 20th pick. And that is too much unfortunately...

They're 3-6, with 73 games to play. And calling their goaltending awful is just plain ignorant. They've have one bad goaltending game thus far, and that was Greiss.

Berube is an excellent Head coach. He'll get his team turned around very soon in my opinion. There's just too much talent there to count them out.

Yeah, the players are simply not executing the system, not playing smart, not doing the simple things, lots of self-inflicted damage. And when they are running play, they miss a ton of great chances. They're in their own heads and it has been really weird to watch. Very uncharacteristic slide for a team that generally has a very short memory and rushes faithfully back to the system when things aren't going well. But yeah, I also assume they'll pull their heads out before long and folks will pretend they never got into all this Chicken Little stuff. A not insignificant portion of Blues fans are super bi-polar (which, to be fair, is mostly the team's fault due to history).

Binnington is literal ass. I have no idea how you can defend him. You let the wrong goalie go.

Ya'll let in what, 7 to Montreal?

I usually throw out the first 2 months of the season. As long as you don't lose too many games and bury yourself you'll be fine. The loser points make everyone look better than they really are. Recency bias has gotten worse over the years with hockey fans. Too many fans bury teams too early now. Blues will he fine. They just need a kick in the arse and Chief will certainly do that. LOL

We'll see how they look in February.

If the Blues are out of the playoff picture we know Armstrong won't hesitate to jettison soon to be UFA's (see, e.g. Stastny, Shattenkirk) if he doesn't think it's going to happen. IF the Blues are out of the playoff picture come February yea it may be trading all of ROR, Tank, Barbie, Mikkola, etc...

Kerfoot doesn't have that much value and any return for ROR should start with a 1st and then add the good prospect

Muh huh.

1st goal - Horrible Leddy turnover up the middle leads to a long shot that changes direction off Suzuki's leg

2nd goal - Four Blues players all go behind the net for some bizarre reason and the puck caroms off the end boards to an unmolested Caufield

3rd goal - Slaf PP blast from the circle with an unmolested screen

4th goal - PP goal, wide open back door pass

5th goal - stupid turnover up the middle when ROR of all people misses catching a simple pass, then Leddy kicks it in on the back door

6th goal - Gallagher deflection right in front of Binnington, no D man around

7th goal - ENG

So which of these are you, someone who clearly watched the whole game, faulting Binnington for?

That's one game, they've let in 30 goals in their last six games. Idc how many mistakes a team makes - you pay a goaltender 6 million a year to stop the puck. Binnington has shown that 2019 was a fluke, and his agent has made him a fantastic sum of cash because of it. Should've kept Husso.

1 - Yeah, it's the one game you offered up as some sort of point.

2 - And two of those games were started by Greiss.

3 - A metric **** tonne. Keystone Cops on ice. Again, you obviously haven't watched any of it, so this would go a lot faster if you just admit you don't know what you're on about.

4 - Binnington was 7th in Vezina voting after the Cup. And his stats the season after were nearly identical. And Binnington signed a two-year bridge deal after the Cup for 4.4M per. If you can't even get historical facts right, why are we doing this?

I don't think edmonton is trading 2 second rounders to swap players. Holland doesnt believe in that.
