That’s a hard fast no. COL isn’t trading anybody from the current roster especially given all the injuries. They aren’t trading prime cost controlled assets for a pure rental they have no chance of resigning. And simply this is an overpayment, Horvat is on a tear sure enough but no way in heck he continues on that pace at that shooting percentage.

And noway in hell is Colorado giving up Newhook and a 1st round pick for Bo Horvat.

Not sure how you think Schenn's value is getting better. He's absolutely part of the problem, you don't want him as a top 4 defenceman.

No, he has been visibly responsible defensively. Saying he is absolutely part of the problem just does to show your sheer lack of knowledge about the Canucks. Seriously putting the blame and literally the only defender who doesn't deserve it

Canucks will trade anything that isnt extended beyond this year for value. Or, at least they should!

It's interesting that VAN fans have the confidence in their GM to get top dollar value in a trade for Horvat when they fumbled the bag so brutally on the JT Miller situation last TDL lol.

I know he’s having a bad season so far, but I would probably put a good bet on Ryan O’Reilly getting a better return if he’s on market. ROR is EXACTLY the type of defensive 2C playoff teams dream of.

Personally I'd like to add Henrique. His cost would be less than Horvat and RoR, comes with a second year of term too. Good leader, great at face-offs, defensively responsible, good size

Lebrun already said that there are teams outside of the rental market that want to trade for Horvat and extend him so thats pretty doubtful. Horvat has 26 goals in his last 32 games. The market is white hot for him!
