Ned has been dogwater this year and was below average last year. Vanecek is better.

Canes aren’t moving that much for Bertuzzi. We wouldn’t extend him with his injury history and age.

He’s 27 and he will be one of the best UFAs next summer.

He’ll be 28 and the deal will carry him through 35. That isn’t the Canes MO, especially with a power forward with injury issues.

I like Perron, but we're not trading one of our top prospects and a first for a 34 year old. The team is old enough

Carolina passes on the Bertuzzi trade.

We'd be lucky to get anything more than a 3rd round pick for Nedeljkovic.

And we're not trading David Perron either, not until 2024 if we're still out of it.

No chance in hell Perron is moved unless he wants to be. 34 year olds don't sign 2 year deals with a NTC to be used as TDL assets less than a year into it.

Also, no one is giving up a 2nd for Ned, especially with how shaky he's been this season.

The remaining trope on the Devils is their goaltending is the weakness, but they haven't watched any of the games since they got their **** together. Vanecek is now sitting at a .915 after a first bad game. Then Ruff sold his soul and now he's been a beast. Schmid, the AHL goalie, is also better than what Ned has been now.

He broke his hand from a blocked shot. That could happen to anyone.

Ned will get better. He hasn't played enough to work things out yet.

With Bertuzzi's injury history? Not a chance. That anchor extension isn't worth Drury and Seeley. He'll be 28 with an extension. Carolina has the entire core coming up for extension soon. Better ways to waste money than on someone that'll spend almost half the year on IR

No he won’t get better. Trust me, as a Canes fan who watched him develop, he won’t get better. All the success he got in the Canes organization, whether it be with Charlotte or with the Canes, was brought about by the defensive play in front of him minimizing the chances he faced. It’s the same way for Mrazek. The dcore that played in front of them made them look good, and now that they got their payday with other teams, those teams have already realized their mistake.

To be fair, the xG models are pretty high on his 2020-21 season. Just don't look at his numbers for any other year.
