why would the leafs want Klingberg? they need someone who can keep the puck out of the net not a guy who makes his living on the PP, anyways they will be going after a forward at the TDL.

That's possible because we know how much Dubass doesn't like physical players. Can't wait till he is gone.

I would accept that offer as the Anaheim GM.

RIP Borje.

Skill over anything else.

The playoffs have been more fast paced skill games the last couple years though.

In a heartbeat. Klinger has been pretty "meh", though it's not as if the Ducks have a system that promotes his style of play. Just pray that another GM is using game tapes from the 19/20 playoffs when he went OFF, instead of scouting this years Ducks tears of joy

Leafs are probably equally as hot for Dumba and Myers or any player that Dubas may see some sort of value in acquiring; ultimately the cost is what determines who he goes after and Niemela+a 1st probably sends him scurrying away.

They wouldn't trade McLeod but Holl would probably be an upgrade on that blue line. I fully expect Holland to trade Barrie next year, only to go and sign Holl for 4mx5.

I think dubas is spending all his picks for the next 3 years this year because he is gone if they don't win a playoff round.

He's not going to spend them all on rentals, because if he does and then they lose in round 1 again, he's definitely gone but also he's not getting a job anywhere else.

He likes good players. And Klingberg would be a smart add. Guys a playoff warrior and he's big and a perfect fit for the system TO plays. You guys that think we need a big cross checking pylon just don't understand how poorly that fits in our system.

I think it's more to do with need than what his contract situation is. He's going to add because it's the time to add. The team when healthy is going to be really good. They win low scoring games, that's a mark of a good team and right now the goaltending looks better than it has since before the lockout
