Adding those 3 would fix just about any roster lol and then add Tara. I was expecting a Makar move of some sort. This would be a wagon

Does the cap no longer exist for the avs?

Logic behind Colorado possibly trading Girard is to free up cap space... not do whatever this is.

And Markström isn't waiving for Arizona.

Why in the world would COL do that? They don’t have the cap space to add those guys, none of those guys play center, and it doesn’t address any of their weaknesses, makes zero sense by any rational person not being a flame fan boy.

Kylingtion goes into Ltir , Rooney is ahl bound, Coleman might be able to get move but he’s still a okay player and mangiapane is the only player you absolutely don’t move after that deal

You wouldn’t want mangiapane? And plus you could probably move Coleman a pick and another player for either a mid first round pick or a medium to somewhat high prospect

I don’t know why you’d wouldn’t do that is like around 6-7 million in cap if you dump everything besides mangiapane so why wouldn’t you take the deal

I get Coleman isn’t the almost 5 million a year he’s paid for player but he plays a style that doesn’t last you long in the nhl and even then he still has 40-45 point potential so just package him with something and get a okay draft pick you legit have 7 million in cap waiting to be claimed in this deal

This trade makes 0 sense for the avs and why would they take on a contract that doesn’t fit and have to do
The flames work for them to move

I thought this was a joke roster I can’t believe you though that was a good trade for the avs

I wouldn't take this deal because of(but not limited to) the following:
-The cap exists
-Its not a fair exchange of value.
-Newhook being a center is the most valuable piece in trade to the Avs. He is finding his own as a 2c without any real help.
-Marzipane is a winger and the Avs are STACKED on the top 6 wing. He doesn't move Landy, Rants, Nuch or Lehk down given his play this year. Can't ignore last season but Avs are good on wing.
-Girard would have to be replaced and that cap is taken up by Coleman(4.9m)
-Kylington is hurt
-That Coleman deal is gawd awful
-LOC has an unreal cheap deal and is the ideal bottom 6er
-No, Avs don't want no scrub (Rooney)

Say they did the trade even with Landeskog on LTIR for the entire season they couldn’t be close to cap compliant. Who plays center? Kylington is hurt, Byram is hurt right now who plays defense? It’s so impractical it isn’t funny.

Hell no from NJ, you’re getting the best defensive defenseman in the league on a ridiculous value contract and another fantastic defensive defenseman in exchange for Devon Toews (who I’m not sure how you acquired anyway) and Tanev who is meh at best
