I like all these trade. The Kane trade is a little heavy. Kakko +1 st + 2nd and Blais is doable.

Not sure Chicago has your vision. With the Dach and Cat trades I believe they will agree to trades for far less

laugh laugh Kakko and 2 1st round picks for a rental in Patrick Kane, Yeah so not happening dude.

And you're not getting no 1st round pick for Jonathan Toews. Maybe Kaut and a 2nd for Toews.

Drury gets a good chuckle and dries his tears and says "If that is the price you can keep him" and hangs up.

Make that a 2024 1st and Ranta and you've got a deal for Toews. Also, Avs don't need retention from a 3rd party at that point of the season.

I think Toronto is really valuing their draft picks, but if you went for a 2024 1st I think they accept.

No they wouldn't, Murphy isn't 4 million dollar defender and Domi sucks. Why on earth would TO take on that kind of money to make their team worse.

Murphy is a good defender, brings size and physicality to the blueline. Is also more stable than Holl who tends to shift from being great to terrible depending on the day. Could also retain salary.

I wouldn't put Domi in the Top 6, rather on the Holmberg line to further spark offense.

And I'll admit, there may be a slight sentimental reason for wanting Domi 🥺

Kakko is just starting to turn the corner. Would rather hold onto him and look elsewhere for RW help.

Not interested in parting with him for a rental.

1st + Kaapo is enough to land Kane.

Domi is a defensive liability and is in no way physical

But he brings offence, which is what the third line has been struggling with. He and Bunting can compete for a Top 6 spot.
