in what world does a 3rd and barrie land you ekholm? and with Nashville retaining for 4 years on top of that. And only missing a handful of first round picks in the Dahlin deal lol.

Horrible deal for Ottawa. They give up a top pair defensive RHD for an extra D, a nothing pick and a bottom six forward

That Zub deal is the worst trade I've seen here since DeBrincat was traded for Foegele and a 2nd.

As a cherry on top, just wanted to mention that your first trade with Florida doesn't work - it's basically cap-neutral ($5.5M in and out) and the issue with Florida right now is they have to clear about $2.7M to remove Duclair from LTIR. Take out Foegele (and honestly, upgrade those picks) and maybe it gets in the ballpark.

I'd rather keep Zub and hope to extend him. That would give the team a few more months to convince him to stay (he looks happy here)
