the depth on the right side is not that great. Jesse has put up decent numbers in the past but could use a change of scenery. Also, including a D-man who destroys with his hits

Id say that would definately get you savard, but with 4 of there top 6 defenders hurt im not sure columbus is looking to move established d-men.

Jackets have zero need for pool party. Swap him for a first and the jackets consider if it doesn’t get outbid

I’m not sure who you think savard is. He wasn’t worth this price at the deadline for Tampa 3 years ago and he certainly isn’t worth that now

The base trade for Gavrikov is a mid-to-late 1st OR an (ONE) equivalent prospect who meets team skillset/positional needs. Neither of these are present, and even if we were accepting "these guys add up to" equivalents (we aren't), the package as a whole falls far, far, FAR short of that standard.
