Nico Sturm, 3C on a much worse team has the exact same stat line as Anderson this year in much less ice time and costs 3.5 mil less. Yet you think Anderson is returning a 1st?

Why would a bottom six player like Anderson get a first round pick? Sure he’s big and fast, but he doesn’t produce. That is the exact mold of a bottom six grinder

They need an overpaid bottom 6 player who doesn’t produce? There’s a lot wrong with the contract, he’s paid like a top 6 player for 5 more years when he’s a bottom 6 caliber player

He’s not really good though. He can skate and hit. He can’t pass, isn’t good defensively, and has an okay shot
