I think the Canucks would agree to a swap like this.

I still dont understand how some habs fan want to trade for PLD. The guys is a FA in two years and its certain he will sign with the habs. The guy literally was at the draft at monttreal hoping to here his name in a trade. We already lack RHD and you want to trade our best young RGD + a first + an okay propect in roy?

Canucks pass. Boeser >>>> Anderson, and they already have a logjam at LHD, not loving an RHD for another one

They shouldn’t. Anderson isn’t good and has a terrible contract. And they don’t need another LHD

Trust me buddy, you dont want the canucks to accept that deal. Josh Anderson is actually awful, he is one of the worst contract in NHL.

His hockey IQ is embarasingly bad and his shoot (which is supposed to be one of his best asset) is pretty bad too. The power of his shot is great, but the real problem is the precision. He either misses the net or shoot in the middle of the goalie

Him with Miller sounds like it would be either the greatest or worst line combination ever. would be interesting to watch at least.

Well that is an easy one Patience. Something most CapFriendly users don't have. You also see it in ACGMs where Habs fans are paying to move players out.

Hawks decline. Norlinder is of no interest to the Hawks, who have plenty of LHD prospects. He's not that different a player from Nic Beaudein, who Hawks traded to Habs earlier this season

Canucks decline. Although Boeser has had a rough start and doesn't have the best value right now, he is still miles better and way more valuable than Anderson. Trading a RHD for a LHD would be a very counterintuitive move on top of that. Yes, the deal does save $3.5 million this year, but it also adds the extra $5.5 million of Anderson's contract for the next 5 years. Canucks learned their lesson, and the last thing they need to be doing is acquiring more bottom 6 forwards on multi-year deals at $3 million+.

Send that CGY 2025 1st round pick to CHI and we'll take Hoffman off your hands.

He could regain some of his old scoring touch playing with Bo if he stays but yeah I agree, the value is not good. Thanks for correcting me
