Our defense somehow got worse and Demko forgot how to play hockey, and then got injured. If we had league average goaltending, I’m pretty sure we would he on a playoff spot right now. If there is any time to be bad, it’s the year when Bedard is available

Demko played 15 games. Does that really erase his 2 years of carrying the team on his back? He single handily kept our playoff hopes alive last season

I’m honestly shocked. Yes, did I think it was possible but this was a legit scoring threat compared to a Ovechkin/Matthews his scoring rates are off the charts.

And he was free for the taking 🤷‍♂️

There are 7 teams in the league who currently have the cap space for Vrana ( and aren’t using LTIR per CapFriendly ) and of those, 1 is Detroit, Chicago, Anaheim and Arizona are in full tank so really only Minnesota, Ottawa or Buffalo might’ve claimed him

Young (22yrs), smaller D-Man, Calen Addison passed the eye-test thus far against the Flames (15-sheltered min ice time).
No flash or points tonight but good hawkey-IQ & nice poise w the puck.
