This is going to be a tough couple of years a head, no cap.

how do you make this team better while working around the horrendous contracts on the books.

things we know:
Krav and Hajek are logging into Zillow and finding new places. these are my theories. returns i think im hard set on but where idc.

blais stays another year at his same rate. something that CAN be traded and SHOULD be trade. but worst case send Buch a card and flowers and walk away with tail in between out legs.

goodrow... goodrow... goodrow... i think sykora is his youthful replacement and ball hockey legend so i see an even swap for each other. M-NTC makes it difficult to send him to the usual cap dump arena that is ASU. But i can see Stevie Y wanting his cup grit back. seemed like a safe bet but alas...im just a man on ACGM.

now as for the 8 million dollar elephant (and captain) in the room... i bite the bullet and eat cap. with the decent depth that we do have im favoring paying for future production rather than past production at 2 year bridges (Laf + KK + Key).

use the extra cap where you see fit. Schneider is going to need a contract soon... and deserves a lot.

Its the least important trade but Chi declines. Hajek isnt good and Hawks have a lot of great lhd prospects ready to make the nhl next year.

only thing i feel strongly about here is that I don't think Krav is gonna be valuable to other teams. If tolvanen can go that far down waivers, then the market isn't there.

Where they were picked a few years ago is irrelevant. Today, Robertson is not worth a 3rd more than Kessel. And I say that as someone who rather likes Robertson and isn;t overly optimistic about Kessel.
