Comtois would be a nice add for the Jets, but he's not returning a 23 1st from Winnipeg.

Right price, wrong team for Klingberg.

I like the ideas of all the trades, but they are a bit skewed towards the Ducks favor. Take off a first from New Jersey, change the Jets to a third rounder, the Lightning to a fifth rounder, the Carolina one is right, and a fourth from Seattle. Just my opinion though

Insane overpay for Terry, laughably bad value for the Devils

Blackwood doesn't make sense for me in it either, Ducks want Dostal in the NHL. Terry could be a forty goal scorer playing with Hughes. It'll be interesting if Ducks see him as a cornerstone or try to create a bidding war over him, could all depend on Kane and what he garners in a trade too

Kane won’t be worth what Terry would be on the trade market. If the Ducks make him available he will be the most in demand player in the league.

Yes, I am well aware. Terry is more or less as good as Meier, and both are controlled assets. The most common Meier trade proposed is Holtz and a first, with the Sharks taking cap or retaining. You're overvaluing your player and undervaluing the Devils' assets.

Devils aren’t doing that for Troy Terry. He’s one hell of a player, but he isn’t Eric Lindros lol

Meier makes 6 million dollars. Terry makes 1.4 million. Both are RFAs. Terry has 95 points in the last 107 games between all of last season and this season thus far.

Agreed but I think Kane would always be traded first with his pedigree and since he's worth less. Terry being an RFA could be a big deterrent if they don't know what he'll sign for with the cap only going up one million most likely. Could be a bad year to be a seller, whereas next year will be a great year imo. Lots of injuries creating cap space for this year though, so its anyones guess who will go big

Selling Terry between the TDL and the offseason is the only option because otherwise I think he’s signed at at least 7 million per year for 6-8 years.

Maybe you should've checked Meier's stats before quoting Terry's at me.

Terry: 49-46--95 (107 gp)
Meier: 51-55--106 (120 gp)

Their both being RFAs means that they'll have similar contracts, likely around 8x8. If Meier is worth Holtz and a 1st, Terry isn't worth any more than that.

The trade is at the deadline, meaning you save almost 5 million up front between Terry and Meier.

Troy Terry has nowhere near that kind of value.

Ottawa isn't making the playoffs, So Klingberg isn't waiving to go there.

But if the Sharks are willing to take cap or retain, it doesn't matter. Retention on Meier might cost what, a third? That doesn't account for that insane amount of extra stuff you have here.

Feels like your overvaluing almost every trade by about 25% in the Ducks favor.

The only reasons to demand more than Meier for Terry is the current cap hit allowing NJ to be able to go get another rental for a run, and that Anaheim is not looking to move Terry while SJ put up a for sale sign on the front door of SAP center.

That said, they've been several 23 1st + Holtz + Mukhamadin +(spelling?) From NJ side for Terry

Really not sure why to ask for Blackwood's rights here....

we must be watching different Anaheim Ducks teams if you think these players are worth all that. Besides, Sens will absolutely not be in a position to give up solid youth for Klingberg

Egregious overpay for Troy Terry, that'd be the biggest return for any player in the cap era come on man.
You'd have to drop one of the 1sts and one of Holtz or Casey to even have chance in trading him out.
