Yeah even if he regains his form, this is a bit too much. I can see Marino for Brock + Myers retained though. But in the end, why does NJ do this. They don't need the offense. They don't really need anything besides a stud goalie.

Brock is a great player and a legitimately a nice guy (one the nicest guys you will ever meet likely in the NHL), but the fact remains his contract to performance will limit his return right now. Which I am sure includes this season, he is 77th in points 70th in goals (the more he under performs this year he keeps slipping down the ranks).

What you think is irrelevant to my life, but alas its forum to talk about these trades.....unfortunately some that may be posted by people are silly. As for value of Canuck players, just being a realist and sadly it would appear almost 100% of the other people tend to agree......so perhaps the value question should be thought about on your side.
