Description

Giving up picks and Broberg , but an actual goaltender would make a smaller improvement on Defence look like a lot. We would still have Deshernais and Neimelienen as defence prospects as well as top forward prospects. 1 winger away from big time contender as it pushes RNH to 3C. Maybe Kostin or Holloway,

So you trade for one of the leagues worst Goaltenders in John Gibson.

Sorry but all Canadian teams and Arizona are on his no trade list. He already let it be known in the past that he won't waive for any Canadian team.

Yeah…. Made this line up before the game. Gibson may not be that bad all the time, Eakins is the coach so he might just be target practice. He let in 6 but it could have been 10-12 with as many chances the oilers were getting. Eakins ruined Dubnyk , destroyed his confidence so bad he was almost out of the game

The 2nd rounder needs to be a '23 first rounder. Doesn't have to be yours, but that first is required.

Don’t think so, he’s not that good and Puljujarvi is a 4th overall. He just doesn’t get along here. No one will pass him the puck.

If he's not that good, why are you trying to trade for him? Spend that package on Edmundson. Jarmo already passed on Pulju once.

He was 4th overall, yes. But all signs are pointing toward him being a bust with a 3 million dollar contract. He's worth a third or fourth rounder to a team looking for a reclamation project. Even then, he's a cap dump that has a chance of going back to Europe after this year.

The long established price for Gavrikov is a first and a third. Gavrikov is a good Top 4 LHD and decent stop gap player in the top pairing. Saying he's not that good is laughably incorrect. And don't bother pointing towards "underlying metrics". Those stats don't matter for players who are on terrible teams unless you're willing to break the team down as a whole and notice he's the only bright spot on a team that doesn't play defense.
