Jackets decline. You may be able to trade him to AZ next year after his SB is paid.

These TB Schenn trades are getting more and more ridiculous. No way they give up their top RD prospect or a 2 nevermind both . He's a 7/8 defenseman on TB you don't give up those assets for an insurance policy.. besides as JBB said at his mid season media availability. Any trade MUST be dollar in dollar out.

I would say Ottawa passes only because I don't see Boeser bumping anyone of Giroux or Batherson in the top 6. For the price Boeser will cost doesn't make sense for Ottawa to pay $6M+ for a player likely on the 3rd line. Giroux makes $6.5M which would make even less sense. Doubt they move Giroux to center because Stutzle, Norris, and Pinto are a pretty solid top 3 down the middle. Nothing wrong with the price, more logistics than anything else.

Unless Vancouver really wants to tank I don't see them moving Demko. If they are willing to mover Demko, then Ottawa would likely make sense in that regard. Actually Ottawa would likely be all over that.

Please provide a rational explanation for TB paying those type assets for a guy who is a black ace for them ? Schenn wouldn't start over Perbix Cernak or Bogosian on the right and damn sure not over Hedman, Sergachev,or Cole on the left? The is a delusionally high payment. (I know Allvin turned down a 2 last year) cough( bulls***) cough he's Lying
