I think the funniest part of this is thinking you can get Pasta to move to SJ at that price lol. It would take a contract in the 13mil range for that to happen.

Don't know if any teams wants Couture's long term contract. Gee, Thompson and Cozens seem to be a great one/two combo for years to come for the Sabres

You're right, but no need to go "all in" this season. 6m can get you a very good player as a UFA...without good spending assets to acquire.
