Honestly you could swap the OTT 2nd coming to Detroit for the LAK 2nd going to ARI and it would work even better for you. Detroit would still accept and it would be more appealing to the Yotes.

Ottawa says no very easily. Why would we be giving up picks for no players of longterm value back. Plus Kasty is our long term 4C

The Kings aren't going to trade Anderson or Bjornfot for Chychrun. That defeats the purpose of making the trade. They need more LHDs, not just an upgrade. Take Anderson and all the parts except Chychrun out of the trade and it's fair.

I wouldn't trade Iafallo for Meier 1-for-1. Iafallo is one of the most underrated players in the NHL, and is a steal at $4M, while Meier's QO is $10M. Meier is a good player, but he's not worth Kopitar money.

The Kings have no intention of trading Blake Lizotte. He's the best bottom six center the Kings have had in decades.

The Maatta trade is fine, although I don't think the 5th is necessary.

Why are there picks coming back from Arizona when the Kings are sending picks?

Chychrun for the 2024 first, 2023 second and Turcotte is acceptable. All the rest of that stuff is pointless window-dressing, particularly LhD Mikey Anderson when the whole point of the trade is to add a second top-4 LhD and he's the one top-4 LhD we've got.

So the Sens are taking a bad goalie on a bad contract who made it through waivers, a 3rd line centre that they don't need, and a 4th line winger that they don't need and that our captain has openly called "a brickhead"? and they're giving you a 2nd for your troubles?

I'd expect Ottawa to finish bottom 10. A pick in 30s in this particular draft is like a late 1st in most drafts, and there are a number of players that could be had in the early second round that should have been 1st round. Berggren fell for whatever reason in his draft, Raty in his draft...there are a lot of those this year.

Exactly my point. It doesn't matter if Ottawa finishes ahead of Detroit. A pick is a pick, who finishes ahead of who doesn't matter. I tried to be nice and explain why I stated what I did initially. You doubled down with your..well, stupid comment. At no point did I have an egotistical comment.

For the future, I'd suggest you just let people of average intelligence discuss matters, even those non-hockey related. You clearly lack any ability to comprehend basic thought.
