Other than Dubois having an extra year of team control, so it should be a little more than what Horvat got. Especially when you factor in PLD being younger and better if he goes as a rental.

Avs don’t have any interest in Armia @ $3.4M. That’s a negative value asset. Mysak is a decent prospect but nothing to get excited about, and Wideman is replacement level and old. A 1st round pick is nice but that’s pretty far out for a team in their cup window. Not sure I understand the value here for Colorado.

He's ufa in 2024-25, 2023-2024 would be when he's sold, not this year. But he def might get a better package than Horvat by a playoff team. Habs next year prob gonna be in a no man's land spot.

He could be sold after the playoffs and before the new league season begins to wherever he is willing to sign an extension. That is what the Jets did with Trouba and the Gorton bought one RFA year and six UFA years on the extension.
